1. Lease Renewal: Our current tenants have first choice to renew their lease. Tenants will receive a renewal letter by the end of the 1st semester, asking them to renew. All tenants wishing to renew must do so by the deadline given in the renewal letter or the apartment will be subject to pre-leasing on a first-come, first-serve basis to all.

  2. Subleasing is permitted with approval of management and all remaining tenants in writing. Pick up subleasing forms in the management office, fill them out completely, and return them to the management office along with a nonrefundable $50.00 subleasing fee. The original tenants will not be released form any of the original lease terms. If the sub-lessee does not pay the agreed amount, the original tenant is obligated for the balance.

  3. Early lease termination: Tenants are obligated to pay for the full lease term agreed upon. If a problem arises, the tenant should find a person to sublease or continue to pay the balance of the lease on time. Management suggest talking to friends, posting flyers on campus, placing adds in the campus newspaper, and placing notices in the off-campus housing office on campus as means of locating someone to sublease the remaining portion of the lease.  Military personnel may refer to the Lease for specific requirements and procedures for lease termination.
