1. Apply early--our apartments are a local favorite, and we cannot forecast availability.  Early applicants have more choices.

  2. Each applicant must submit a completed application and signed guarantor form to the Collegiate Suites office, along with a check or money order.  A check payable to Hunters Ridge for $375, or Collegiate Suites for $425 covers:

Application Fee:  $25; non-refundable processing fee.

Redecorating Fee:  $100; a fee held until you vacate the premises, used to clean your carpets, touch up the paint, patch the nail holes, and touch-up clean your apartment--all things that you are not required to do when you vacate.

Security Deposit:  $250 at Hunters Ridge or $300 at Collegiate Suites; a deposit held in escrow until you are no longer leasing with us, and then refunded to you less any unpaid charges  or charges for excessive damages.

        If for any reason your application is cancelled, all but the application fee will be refunded.

  1. Read your lease and ask questions if necessary.  If you like, you may have a copy to review outside our office before making a commitment.

 

  1. Sign a lease.  If you have chosen the Individual Lease option but all applicants are not present, you will be asked to sign both a Joint and an Individual lease.  (Once the whole group has signed, the Joint lease will be destroyed)

 

  1. On the first day of your lease, report to the Collegiate Suites Office with a check for your first rental installment, and pick up your key.
